- One of the newer museums in Lubbock is the Caviel Museum of African American History. Owned by husband and wife, Alfred and Billie Caviel, it’s goal is to educate visitors about the history of African American’s who helped make Lubbock the town it is today.
- The Museum of Texas Tech University houses more than five million exhibits that are related to Texas Tech! Be prepared to learn about the arts, natural sciences, humanities and more. Take some time to relax in the Moody Planetarium, which features daily star-gazing shows.
